At least you are getting comments ... I am in the low 5s with 2 comments. I don't think people know what it is I photographed and that just doesn't seem to help :(

Im sitting at 6.0 also 4 comments saying Wow, cool, nice colors. So why does it keep going down.. I though for sure Id get a what is comment.. It is an eye catching image, and I did print it out and hang it.

With 364 pictures, getting comments is the more difficult part. Either submit something totally controversial (or really bad or a famous title) like my mother shot which is doing horrible 4.8+ but it has 13 comments already...

i got 6 comments but almost all of them liked it, so its all good apart from scores.

you know sometimes we really look for comments. And this happens when you enter something out of box. Because if it is not what viewer want to see he will not vote it high, so then its upto the participant to see what he really wants.
For me (you can say sour grapes) i know i am not going to win it, but then i think why not enjoy it. Comments are important then more than scores.

Only if a part of the baby is intentionally blurred and the whole thing is in B&W.

I think I know what's up...mine's a pretty good comp, but it's in B&W, which seems to be hurting. Won't try that again. My title's dumb, too. :)

I don't know what's up with mine. Again I've shown other photography friends online and here at home and they think it's good and don't understand the comments I've received- much less that I've only received 3 lol.

I would like to know what goes through the minds of other voters besides me lol. I basically look at it, if it meets the challenge that's important, plus the composition of course.

4.2050 and only 3 comments, one of which wasn't saying anything good or bad about my photo, just that they rated pics like mine pretty high because their's was rated low. This doesn't help me very much, especially being a first time entrant and not knowing hardly anything about photography.
