I have an opportunity to show 8x10 framed and matted photo's in a korean deli/restaurant with a huge turnover. Qestions:
1: How do you determin what price a framed and matted 8x10 should go for?
2: What's a fair kick back to the shop owner?
3: Have you ever done anything like this and made any money? |

What's the clientele of the deli/restaurant? High-class/low-class, travelers looking for a bite to eat or a sit down 'make a night of it' affair?
I am certainly no expert and have no experience in this sort of thing, but I would base the price at about 5 to 10 times what the average meal for two would cost there. That would place the price high enough to be considered of value, while keeping it low enough for the patrons to afford.

Set your price for the 8x10 print itself. I charge $30 for mine. Add up the framing cost and mark that up at least 30%. The average 'commission' around here is 30% to the retailer.
