Are all men, and women, basically sinners?
OR
Are all men, and women, basically imperfect?
Merry Christmas in advance to all.

| Men and women are basically just human. Homo sapiens. But intentionally antagonizing them is evil. |

Sinners?
Imperfect?
Am I a sinner to take a drink now and then, or am I just imperfect?
What about yourself?

We are all human, imperfect and sinners. We are the flaw in God's design but I truly believe that's why He put us here, to learn from our flaws, love ourselves and love Him.
Merry Christmas

| Posting while under the influence is a definite sin. |

I am neither or. I am just me. To make me a sinner would mean that i have broken someones rules. But who has the right to impose rules on me? No one really. A sin is a personal thing I think. What one person may call a sin, to another is something completely different.

I would probably be considered a sinner, but I have only one thing to say...
Merry Christmas...

An interesting question posted on this day,
My answer is I̢۪m a sinner saved by grace.
God sent his Son to die on the cross,
And on that day He took my place.
By His blood I have been saved,
Do I stumble yes I must say.
But through Him I have forgiveness,
When I kneel and ask for mercy as I pray.
Remember Christmas for what it is,
Christ Jesus was born – God Lamb.
I know I don̢۪t deserve any of his mercy,
But I am saved be cause He is the Great I Am.

Well said SDW65... I was just going to say, I'm a sinner by nature, but fortunately, because of God's Christmas gift to mankind, my sin is gone :) I'm still imperfect. . .but even my imperfections are covered.
Now THAT's worth celebrating :)
I hope everyone has their best Christmas EVER!

i don't feel that it's a sin to take a drink now and then. the sin is in excess.

| sin and temptation are like shadows and light. Too much and you're doomed, but just enough and it's sheer perfection... at least IMHO |

My beliefs: The only perfect man to ever walk the earth was Christ. He atoned for our sins, but that doesn't automatically make up for our imperfections. We must accept His atonement by obeying His (and God's) commandments and, when we mess up, repenting of our sins. Through Christ's atoning blood we are made clean, provided that we are humble and repent of our mistakes.

Well that's what we're told anyway. My pre-school kids come home from "religious education" classes and show me how well they've memorized verses begging forgiveness for their sins (hello?). Apparently, it's not possible for someone NOT to be a sinner. How convenient for the church. :-( |

Sin & imperfection are inventions of 'Man'
flawed like the inventors |

The idea of original sin makes me hurl. If a newborn baby is a sinner, then god bless the saints because I don't want to be like them.

| I read some where TO Sin means to miss your personal mark i.e a standard or goal you set for your self, if you sin you are missing your mark and i am sinning |

an imperfection is to bump,
not to bump is a sin.

the thing is that no-one will know until they die.
And then they will either know nothing (because they are dead!!)
Or everything will be revealed. (I guess this depends on what religion you believe in?)
