Hi guys
On Wednesday night I was lucky enough to be able to be up close and photograph our local carols by candlelight. I had an absolute ball. It really just confirmed to me how much I would love to shoot events for a living. It also confirmed to me how much I need a 70-200 f2.8 to get anything decent. I am not real happy with the photos but some opinions would be greatly appreciated.
(the aussies will notice one particular face on the stage)
Enjoy

Looks like you had fun.
Try to always include the performer's hands... especially if a little of them is already included in the frame. This will really improve your shots.
Also, if you turn down your saturation to minimum on the camera, your colours won't burn out under coloured lights. |
