DPC newbie with sizing question - DPChallenge Forums

Hi all-
In trying to resize a few photos for this week's challenge, I see that I'm WAAAAAY over the 150kb limit (by about 500 kb.)
Is there a quick/painless way to size it down in order for it to be elligible?
PS: Having a great time viewing everyone's work and reading posts!

what software are you using to photo edit?

Picture It 9...I have a PE 2.0 disk, but have not installled it yet....

hrmm i dont know with that - unless there is a save for web option under the file menu.

We need someone who knows picture it please!!

Actually..... :)
It says Save for E-mail or Web, and it has prompted me to choose pixel size...what is an appropriate size to maintain the quality of the picture without it being so huge?
Thanks for the help...I've been having so much fun with my new 10D I've focused on VERY little else! :)

im not sure about pixel size
the dimensions should be 640pixels at longest side
and dpi should be 72

i dunno if that is any help though...

In Picture It! there is an option to "resize" on the left side of the screen. Check the Help button in case you have customised it differently...mesmeraj gave you good dimensions to work with.
