Our own alanfreed is Featured Photographer today at photoSIG. WTG Alan, we knew you could do a great job on sports and, indeed, all types of photography. Nice to see you getting some well deserved recognition beyond dpc.

Congrats Alan. I esepecially like the animated photo with the Circuit City woman running across the screen towards that camera. LOL

I am guessing it's not the high point of your career, but yet another feather in your cap. Keep up the awesome work!

Hmph... that's all news to me! It must be some sort of half-day (hourly, even?) type of distinction... I see someone else as the "featured photographer" at the moment (once I get through the obligatory Circuit City ads).

Thanks for letting me know, though... I would have never known otherwise!

Ahh, that fleeting 15 minutes of fame!

Apparently I missed my 15 minutes of fame while I was out narrating our church's Christmas play tonight! :)

Speaking of Photosig... if anyone here is an executive member/full member whatever they call it. I'd like an invite code to become a basic member. I have the kind of membership where I have to make a bunch of helpful comments before I can upload any pictures. I'd like to actually feel like I know some of those people before I start commenting on their pictures. I suppose I could comment on all my brother's (midnightblue69) pictures, but he'd probably get annoyed and it probably would degenerate into us teasing eachother.

You still have to comment as a Basic Member also.

Yes, but I'll be able to get to know people a little before I do. I was here for a few weeks lurking around before I started commenting on pictures. At first, I thought everyone was so good that what could I possibly contribute that would be of an value? Then, I was here awhile, and found that I did have things to contribute.

I never see any ads on photosig. Must be my safari browser...
