Did anyone get a shot of the moon over Boston this morning? Nice full moon setting with a lot of colors from the sunrise. I was running late and kicking myself for not taking my camera. The moon as it was setting and sun was rising was really cool looking here today. Of course as a torment it was in my windshield most of my commute to work!
Honestly I propably wouldn't have done it justice because it is 5°F (-15°C). I would have just pointed and shot, set up be damned! Then been disappointed when I looked at the result.
Oh well

Should have taken your camera, and damn being on time for work. A full moon rising/setting over a nice cityscape is a great shot. I got this one in Madison last summer:

| I missed the moon over east Texas this morning...one particular scene had me in tears for being unable to stop, set up, and take a picture. A mother horse nuzzling her foal, standing in the frosty pasture, trees behind them, the full moon above them to the right, the purply-pink sky...it was GORGEOUS and I couldn't stop or else my kids would be late to school. Le sigh. It was a breathtaking scene and I'm glad we got to witness it, but oh how I wish I had a picture. :( |
