what are you lot actually doing at the moment, or whenever you are monitoring these boards?
Are you at work and keep checking posts?
Or are you at home on holiday or days off and keep an eye on the forums?
I'm just curious as to how much effort/time you devote to this place.

They are kept in a small dark room and share a keyboard! :P

Way too much. ;)

I'm either. I check in from work (more than I should) and generally have the page up if I'm online at home.

When they become SC, D&L imbed a special chip in their brains that puts in alarm in their heads when somthing on the site requires their attention :-P

Believe it or not, we all have real lives as well as DPC stuff :o) However, since we've got a spread of people in several timezones around the world, there's nearly always someone online, keeping an eye on things.

Between reading the forums, processing DQ requests, dealing with user enquiries, and general SC discussion (future improvements, rules revisions, etc), I find I spend around 2 hours a day doing SC-related work, but this obviously varies from day to day and person to person.

...then it keeps giving them little electric shocks every 2 min. until they log on and see to the crisis.

Let's be honest... we're all supposed to be doing our real jobs, but the thought of ticking someone off by DQ'ing them is just too addictive :)

Alan you pulled little girls hair when you liked them too, didn't you ;)

We're actually in a dark van parked outside your house. ;-P

I'm on this site (mumble) hours per day, which is probably part of the reason I got the call. It gives me something to do between update button clicks, even though I'm supposed to be working.

Hmmm... There's a DQ that's been pending for 3 days now for my Free Study submission. I sense opportunity for you, Alan... ;-) (or at least something to take your mind off the Steelers.. LOL)

Well, if you stayed between the lines it wouldn't take so long for us to reach a decision. ;-P

Right now, at this exact moment, I need to be cleaning my living room and fixing my little boy lunch, and feeding my daughter. BUT, I jumped on to see if an email I was expecting had come, and while online just happened to come into dpc, try to clarify my position on a picture in question, and found this thread.

And now, I'm off again.

Honestly, I spend at least an hour a day doing SC stuff, sometimes more.

I get up in the morning, get on the computer, check my emails, get on the site. Run my kid to school real fast, come home and get back on the site. Then I go to my real job for about 9 hours, come home and get back on the site. Probably about 5 or more hours a day. I read forums, email members who have asked questions, review DQ stuff, read the SC forums, do a few CC's, make a few comments in a challenge, etc.

actually, what heather does is visit every other photo site on the net looking for date violations of entries here. ;)
