cool - maybe a bit too plasticy - but has a good feeling to it.

I don't know if you have this particular plugin or not, but it's excellent for creating starfields and nebulas. It's called Universe and the free version, though limited, is quite useful. You can download it at this site . I used the free version to create this background last summer. :)
