| This will be my very first challenge entry, I hope I can come through anyway! LOL Taterbug~~~~My mouth dropped open when I read your post cause this describes my photo shoot adventures to a "T"!!!! LOL I don't dare take anyone with me that doesn't share in my passion as it would be a living nightmare for them. I need a bumper sticker to warn those behind me! |

Pauline, when the heavy storms come the skies are just perfect for moody images. Don't give in just take a different approach. The Peak District Triptych was taken on a really horrible day - so don't give up just yet.

Thanks for the encouragement, Keith! I shall pray for some really stormy looking skies instead of the plain grey ones at present. I still have Monday and Tuesday I suppose to try to capture something worthwhile. I am just not going to enter a pic that is not good enough - I have gradually managed to handle my update addiction and know I can go without it if necessary!

I haven't had anything "worthy" this month, I think it will be the first Free Study I skip since I joined :(

| aww... read Riponlady's post - she had some wonderful idears~! If I find something to enter, it'll be my first free study, too. it's a little intimidating considering my lame-o average of 4.5's and not to mention the awesome talent i have to sell my garbage to. But, i'm gonna try anyway! cross your toes for me! :-) |

| I've had a few ideas for the challenge but I am going through one of those spells where everything I try and do ends up looking like shite! Just can't seem to capture what I see in my head! :( |

I look at a free study as an opportunity to submit my personal favorite photo that I have made during the challenge period. It's not something you have to go out and work for. Your every day shooting should produce something worthy of a free study :)

Just submitted mine. I spend an evening of my Thanksgiving break out taking pics at my parents'. Worked up a great image, and then decided to go with a shot I had taken three weeks earlier...
I'm not sharing though, cuz it may make an appearance in any Best of 2005 challenge.
Here's to hoping I made the right choice. It's so hard to pick when you are dealing with two very different images. |

| I entered one two weeks ago. It may not score high but I really like it. I didn't go out to specifically shoot a free study pic. Just shooting on a weekend trip and this one came out pretty good. Unless I get something better in the next two days, this is it. If I can beat my average score I'll be happy. |

It looks like I'll be entering something I took at the beginning of the month since I haven't been out much or have concentrated on multiple exposures which, since done in PS, are not DPC legal.

Here's the dilemna. I've got 4 images. All valid for this Free Study challenge. All different... a definite study of different aspects in photography. I'm torn between all four. What to do. What to do.
BTW, all 4 images are a complete departure from what I normally submit ;) I'm thinking have my friends choose or help me choose and submit the top for the Free Study and the next highest for a future Best of 2005 if there is any ;)

my suggestion for Rikki - send me one of your pics you can't choose from and I'll submit it as my own, ribbon, and gloat. Of course, you know, i'd be doing it all for you.
