I mistakenly thought an image was a double exposure or composite, but was having a difficult time figuring it out. Further explanation and the artist says it's BODY PAINT! I'm sorry, but I was VERY impressed with this photo and thought I'd bring it to everyone else's attention if you haven't seen it already.
Great job mycelium!!!

Wow - Just found this thread - thank you! I've been so thrilled and flattered by the response to this picture. Now I just wonder if I should have saved it for the free study! |

That is schweet... must've taken a while to apply the body paints... and the attention to detail is awesome...

Amazingly, it only took two hours from start (arriving on location) to finish (walking off) - I learned a lot doing my Camouflage entry! The most important thing is making sure that your model doesn't use moisturizer beforehand, because then the makeup won't stick! (That was one of the things I learned the first time I tried bodypainting...)
Incidentally, I was able to find both my models through a single ad placed on Craigslist. What a great resource. |

| Very well done! That is amazing! I have seen some truly awe inspiring body painting images in the last couple of years on the internet and this rates right up there with them! |

Maybe you should suggest a body paint challenge... ;-) a shot like this would easily ribbon.
