Big Cat Rescue is a non-profit rescue and sanctuary for big cats in Tampa, Fl. I visited last year and was very impressed with the facility and staff. Anyways, every year they have a photo contest and I thought I would post the link here for anyone interested. It looks like they only accept photos by mail and there is a $5 charge to submit a photo (all the money goes to the cats so it is for a very good cause). Grand prize is a "behind the scenes" photo tour and sleep over in the cabins they have on site. "behind the scenes" means they actually take you into some of the enclosures to photograph the cats without any obstructions. It is normally $50 per hour to do so. They always have a staff member with you and only take you into enclosures with cats they trust. I am still trying to save money to do that one of these days. Here is the link:

Unless they would pay for me to get to Tampa I wouldn't be able to collect the prize. The behind the scenes opportunity would be awesome. Otherwise I would be tempted to submit this:

JPR - That is a great picture! Title is so very fitting too.
Are you still in NY? If you fly out of NYC the airfare to Tampa is actually quite cheap. I am a travel agent and book that routing frequently. As long as you have an advance purchase you can usually get roundtrip airfares for around $150.
