Ok photoshop experts
I searched the forums, but couldn't find anything.
I've got a PSD file, and I want to save it as a jpeg. However, save as only gives me things like EPS, RAW and PSD options. No Jpeg. What am I doing wrong, or do I need to do something else?
Thanks in advance!

It's probably a 16 bit/channel file. You have to change it to 8 bits/channel first. Then jpeg will be an option.

If there's layers then it may be set up to not create a copy so doesn't allow jpeg.
To try to resolve this, flatten the image then try a save as.

When you go to image/mode, what all is checked off?
and what colour space is the file in? You shouldn't have to do this but try converting it to sRGB if it's not already there.

That's it! I was in duotone to make the picture a quadtone and converting it back to sRGB gave me all my options
Thanks everyone!
Ooo, and I think I'll get my first thread killer credit :D

OK, resurrecting my own thread.
I've decided to try my hand at the ever so cool grunge effect. I'm using the famous Joey Lawernce method as he outlined in the Mentorship thread on digital color.
However, I am now stuck as it says the paste command is not available.
???? HELP!!!!
edit: never mind. Fixed it!
Woot! Thread killed!
