I have been asked to put a friends photograph onto canvas for them. (after I have touched it up with some painting effects). Has anyone had this done before? Does anyone know of any good labs online with reasonable prices that they could list?

| The process is called giclee, if you search "giclee printing" you'll get tons of online printers. One that I have had an extensive conversation with is in Charleston, SC, if you email a file they will print and send it out UPS to you, more info ay www.canvascreationsgallery.com. I veiwed many samples of their work and it is all high quality and prices are reasonable from what I've found. |

thier website is about useless. teh home page says they will make a canvas giclee of your photo, but then the products page only lists their prints. The FAQ page as ONE question..and not the one i want an answer to.
mpix offers this service as well - canvas on stretcher frames or canvas on matboard - //www.mpix.com/productsinfo.aspx

I do alot of my printing through alford imaging in memphis. They have a website. They are very resonably priced, and have done a wonderful job for me. The only downfall is that they print on canvas panels. My customers love them. They also have a download system that really makes ordering easy. Hope this helps.
