HOW EMBARRESSMENT...!!!! - DPChallenge Forums

Ever had those days' where nothing goes right??
well that s today for me
i won't go into the whole scenario, but thought you guy's might like a chuckle from this...

Ive spent the past three hours trying to upload some photos for print to my normal printing place, i have done this many many many times.

Today i tryed and tryed, and i kept getting the same message 'Phone not Valid'
so i would redo and redo, adding files and name and credit card details, after about 6 times i decided maybe it's the airport, so i turned it off and put my ethernet back on... NO... 'Phone not Valid'

so in the end i restart my computer , no 'Phone not Valid'

so the last thing you do is ring the company, so i ring, and have had them bamboozled as they have never heard of this before, so i give up after a while, go do something else ( like housework) came back just now, AND GUESS WHAT???
guess what 'Phone not Valid' means??.. it meant i forgot to put my phone number in the box....

I thought i was the only dumb one here.. Looks like I have a rival. ;p

Seriously, i hate days like that. Sometimes, you are just better off starting again.

i can tell you that i have done and said some really stupid things in my 36 yrs. I guarantee you that you need a big sleep, time away from the computer and some fresh air. Might get that brain clicking again. ;p

i thought "how embrassement" was an aussie saying. Well i dont know if road runner isn't aussie come to think of it...

?You humiliation was totally worth making us laugh ;)

yep aussie through and through.. not sure how much they accept me when i do silly things like this though, they'll tell you i have irish blood in me... AY..!!

oh good! I had flash backs to the days of Dolly magazine when i read how embarressment on the forum list. Us Aussie kids need to stick together you know!

no comment on situation, but I love how I can read your original comment and notice how "ring the company" absolutely does not translate to American English. I love the comment "ring" because "we" say call, but ring is just as obvious. Thanks for the open thoughts!!!
