A chance for everyone to take a shot at one of my images. After my rather blunt critiques this should be interesting. Actually I need some honest input. Thanks.

Colors muddy? Time to recalibrate there bear. Closer to vivid.

I tend to agree with the bear on composition and colours. They could be tweaked up just a bit.

I don't see a problem with the colors. I could make them all red, crimson and magenta for a more dramatic sunset, but hat is the way I saw them and I am usually very conservative in the embelishment department. The composition I expect resistance to because it struck me as odd when I took it.

After reading through this thread and seeing that you thought enough of it to print a 20x30, I thought I would take another look at this image.

It's still not doing a lot for me, but it does become a lot more interesting if I enlarge it to fit my 19" screen. At the large size I get the "gateway", "portal" thing you're seeing, and it does tend to draw the viwer in, but at the smaller size it just wasn't there.

At to the colors, well, they are very similar to the sunset colors I see in here in Arkansas. I do feel it could use a bit of a curves adjustment, but I dont know that I'd call the colors muddy. But then, the more I use photoshop, the more I try not to overuse it, as its so easy to do.
