"May not need to happen"? Of COURSE it doesn't need to happen. It needs NOT to happen. You need NOT to use peoples' images without their prior permission. Which quite possibly you could have gotten had you contacted them before posting their pictures.
Speaking for myself, I'd be a lot more impressed by your post if you'd just said the stuff about the e-mail bouncing and then followed that with something like "I'm sorry for the breach of etiquette. I should have asked for permission before posting other peoples' pictures, and I won't do this anymore. Again, my apologies. I meant no harm, I just wasn't thinking."

Sonja,
Can you explain how an email to me came back to you if you don't have my address? Why not respond to the email I sent you? Either of them?
There is a contact form on my webpage that sends email directly to me.
Send to penrodc@comcast.net
I look forward to hearing from you.

... and just so its said very very clearly:
EVERY PHOTOGRAPH BELONGS TO THE PHOTOGRAPHER. YOU MAY NOT COPY OTHER PEOPLE'S PICTURES WITHOUT THEIR PERMISSION. EVER. NO MATTER WHERE THEY CHOSE TO SHOW THEIR IMAGES. YOU MAY NOT STEAL.

Hello Sonja,
In addition to your apology, you might consider some offer of consideration for the use of Cindi Penrod's image on your website. She may change her mind about pursuing legal action, and your admission of guilt in a public forum about using the image without permission places you in a precarious legal position.

This function can be turned on or off for individual albums within Gallery. You have made your situation far worse by leaving it active in that album. Not only did you steal images, you offered a method for their sale. |

Wrong. You must do more than contact photogrpahers, you MUST GET PERMISSION.

1 day and NO direct contact from Sonja, Mark or the company despite my 5 emails.
I have contacted the legal department of PPA to help me handle this situation.

Have a look round our website, to find out about how much our members take notice of photographs other than camping ones.
Also you will find that the website is not commercial it is run by a couple of caravanners, who work full time, run the website fulltime and are on the computer 100% for our members.
The following photographers have been contacted by me in the past for use of their photographs,
Peter Anderson
Douglas Benner
Tess Campbell
Terry Cervi
Richard Hahn
Heather Jacks
Evy Johansen
Gerri Jones
Robert Jones
Trond Nordland
Lynn Scanzano
Fred and Sheila Smart
Brian Watters
Lyn Winans
Lisa Young
There are more but I just wanted to say that I should not have slipped into bad habits
Been a very bad year for us and its getting worse I feel

To be fair, in this apology Sonja said she "must contact photographers" before she even gives consideration to using their images. That seems right to me. If I like your picture and want to use it, I contact you FIRST to see if I may use it, and if you say NO I don't use it. Sounds like getting permission, to me.
