I'm so excited! Just found out that my favorite astrology books Linda Goodman's Sun Signs is posted online. I mentioned it in this thread. Her book "Love Signs" is even better, but I haven't found that on online.
There was a recent thread where I believe a certain poster really lived up to the negative traits of their sign. BTW, not a thread that I participated in. I looked up the sign to refresh my memory, and it could have been written based on the traits exhibited in those posts. Don't ask me to name that person, but you might have fun looking up yourself or someone who's sign you know. The accuracy can often be uncanny.
And while I'm at it, here's a public "Happy Birthday" to
Flash, who has a monumental birthday coming up on November 25th. He seems like a pretty good Sagittarius to me; and one of my all-time favorite friends was also born on that day.
Just for fun, let us know if you feel that your astrological profile fits your personality.

My bday is March 22, 1980....but I have got to be the STRANGEST Aries I've ever met. I exhibit a lot more Pisces traits. I can cut loose and be outgoing at times, but I much prefer to be introverted. I'm not usually stubborn unless someone's being stubborn with me. I don't LIKE to lead anything--I really prefer to be second or third in command.
And....the weirdest thing...my mom did some astrology stuff with me and found out that I'm a Leo rising (I think that's the right term...sun sign Aries, Leo rising?)
So...yeah. I think my parents are lying to me about my birthday :-) Maybe I was really born on March 20th :-) |

| I am "into" astrology...your rising or ascendant sign is your personality that you show the world. I am also Leo rising..so that means I seem more like a Leo than Capricorn, which is my sun sign. There is so much more to your sign than just your sun sign...which is why you can have 10 Aries (or whatever sign) in the same room and they can all seem very different... : )) |

| i am an engineer and usually i do not believe all this stuff. But it remains the fact that in year 1999 my friend based on my horoscope predicted my future for coming few years. Every thing has come true in last 6 years what he said. Kudos to him. |

| hmmmm.... I'm not sure....some of it seems to fit me to a tee but some of it is not me at all. I do have tendancies to get emotional sometimes but I like to think I am level headed too... oh wait, that does fit what she is saying...hmmmm maybe it is me or maybe not...it all depends on how you analyze it... :) |

| I'm certain that If a person is taken on a tour( by a legitimate astrologer) of his/her natal chart-past JUST the Sun Sign he/she will be amazed by the accuracy of it..and I was once a total non-believer in this "stuff". |

I would never expect a Sagitarian to keep a secret, however your post was a surprise (and yes 50 is a big one). Much appreciate the kind words. Regarding the accuracy of my sign to me, I feel it is pretty much on. I love to learn, I enjoy philosophy, religion and Law. I tend to be rebellious, especially against any controlling authority (bosses, parents, "know-it-all's") and am fairly amiacable and flexible. Truth or the seeking of truth is a "life's mission", and lying is simply not acceptable. I am mostly tolerent, and can be diplomatic.......until my fuse blows and the intense emotional outburst rallys forth. BUT, then it is over. 15 minutes later, we can sit down and have a beer. I need my space and confinement is out of the question. My tendencies are to go overboard with love, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, which translates into intensity as viewed from the outside. People most often forgive me my faults, and I can guarantee that I am capable of truly "p!ss!ng" someone off. I am spritual, and am most compatible with Libra's, Arie's, other Sag's, Aquarian's and Gemini's.
I use astrology to help me understand co-workers/bosses that I have trouble with. It is amazingly accurate in my experience.

Could this be a more wide-spread description or what?? :-) Overall, the description seems pretty fitting, kinda scary actually.
But what I find more scary is that I'm a Capricorn Mom raising not one, but TWO little Scorpio boys. Lord help me.... :-)

A full chart done by a pro, is definitely more accurate. Sun signs are just a starting point for some general personality traits. As Flash mentioned, sun signs can be very helpful in figuring out friends and co-workers. My friends and family think I am the most level-headed person they know. This is not necessarily a Sagittarian trait, but my chart is loaded with Virgo.

I thought my husband was the strangest Aries. He suffers from an affliction, though. I think it’s moon in Cancer, Pices rising, and the next 3 planets in Pices. He’s very understated, unless you cut him off in traffic, or until he gets a few beers in him! Then look out…it’s Aries, all the way!

I read charts, it would be interesting if people shared some of their natal chart info!
Here's mine: Sun Aquarius
Moon Taurus
Asc Sagittarius
Mercury square Uranus and Mars (I find it hard to be tactful!)
Venus in Pisces square Neptune
Pluto bang on MC.
Sun, Saturn, Pluto in grand trine. |

I'm a taurus....some of the stuff fits me :)
I grew up in a small town (2400) and there was a girl in town that was born the same day/year as me, May 4 1968. We are ssssooo opposite. In looks and personalities. My sister is also a taurus, May 10, and our personalities are very, very different....same warped sense of humor (my whole family had it, except dad) but different in everything else.
My very best friend since forever...(since sperm and ovum, our parents were friends long before we were ever born) is a Capricorn (Dec 23)...she is the one person who has stood with me through thick and thin...unwavering...she's my rock! :)
BTW....where does one find their natal chart info? (like what bobsterlobster has listed)

Here's a site I've used.
It's good for getting a chart, but since the analysis is computer generated it can be full of conflicting info. Check out the Free Horoscopes. |

I went here and plugged in my information and bunch of little signs up along the bottom in a row. The little signs showed this in order:
Sun Taurus, Moon Leo, AC Taurus
Read around a little but it's pretty much chinese to me :) I don't understand the lingo....some of it's interesting...

The Aries girl will open her own doors. Shell also put on her own coat, fight her own battles, pull out her own chair, hail her taxi and light her cigarette without any masculine help. Doing it herself is, to her, the fastest way to get it done. Naturally, this doesn't set too well on the vulnerable male ego. The Mars girl is determined to take the lead, to be the first to move to action, and that includes the action of making the first advance in romance. Aries women create a magic world of fantasy for their children. It's where they live themseves.

The moon in Taurus creates a state of contentment. Sagittarius rising gives depth to the personality but then the Sun in Aquarious lends a hot and cold fluctuation to the pursuit of ideas.
Venus in Pisces lends that universal love thing but a lot of remorse because of the big mouth of Sagittarious and the often indifference of the Sun Sign. If mercury is square Uranus and Mars then you tend to formulate and terminate projects and ideas at a moments notice. It would help to know the location of Mars and Uranus because of these two are conjunct, and I assume this from the square, then this conjuction is the dominating and critical part of your chart. Email me the chart and I will be happy to study it. |
