This is my first attempt at a sequence shot. One of my friends was playing, and he hadn't gotten to play most of the season due to an injury. He got to play in his last game as a senior in high school, and was able to make this catch with 20 seconds left on the clock to give us a shot to win. After this play, they ran the ball in for a touchdown putting us down by 1 point with no time left on the clock. We chose to go for two, and didn't make it. Anyway, I know the lines are screwed up but I didn't bother trying to fix them because I had already butchered cloning in a ton of grass on the right side of the image. Other than that I thought it was a decent first attempt. I just wanted to get some practice in before summer gets here because I'll be taking lots of wakeboarding shots attempting to do the same kind of thing.
Edited to add the image :P

I've added a "how-to" on the comments section of the photo. If someone wanted it, I could write up an official how-to with screenshots and better details.

Excellent work for your first attempt. Well shot and well edited. Sure, there are some rough edges and I can see some repetitions in your cloning but on the whole you've done a great job. A green field would've been nicer but that's not as much a comment on your photography skills as a time-of-the-year thing. If it holds up as well a little larger as it does in it's web size, you may want to get a print made for your friend.
Please pass along a "Nice Catch" to John, and my compliments to your coach for having the guts to go for the win.
