I think there should be a forum section dedicated to local organizations. Where people can learn and discuss the local photograph-related clubs that we can join, and people of that individual community can post links to the sites...it's sort of like out and about, but it's more business.
We need to stand up for our rights, because they are slowly being taken away, and it's something that's been going on for years. We need to take a stand, and as one of the LARGEST communities of beginning photographers on the entire internet, I would assume that this is something that DPChallenge should be interested in promoting -- that is, the distribution of knowledge related to local organizations -- for both the photographer's well-being, as well as photography's well-being, in-general.

| It wouldn't be terribly complicated to generate a local camera club database here. I'm not sure if the 'site' is interested in the idea yet, but it would be a great 'network' to be a part of. |

Great idea! Local photo-organizations can be one of the very best places for new users to learn.
