I just realized that it's already been 6 months since I joined DPC. Wow! It's been one heck of an experience I have to say. I've met great people to share in laughter, debates, sorrow, failure, and success.
I once hesitated to join due to many reasons with one being the $25 membership fee. I'm quite frugal you know... always looking where my next dollar will go. Let me tell you, I got my money's worth in a week!
I also remember my first challenge entry. Oy vey! I told my girlfriend that I was shooting for around 130th place. Wouldn't you know, I placed 126th :)
It's been a wonderful experience - so far :) I've learned so much in so little time. What is also very interesting is the way I take photos now. I used to just focus on architecture being an architect and all ;) But now, my photographic exploits are reaching boundaries I never thought I would do.
Anyway, I just wanted to say a brief thanks to everyone. Eventhough we all share this little place we all call "home", I feel that I at least know a little bit of that person behind the screen.
And to those that are new to the site, sit back, relax and enjoy the DPC Ride :D
