when i use my f707 and i press the shutter down half way i notice that the white balance cycles different colors or temps every few seconds 0nly while held down, in any white balance setting. does anyone else have this problem??? and also, when outside or in bright lighting, i notice that when i press the shutter down half way wierd red flaring occurs on the screen from the lights... ???????? am i just picky or is my camera messed up? |

i have notices the red flare thing at night with the lights, or when taking sunset pics..but they never show up in the pic....just on the LCD before snapping the shot....
its possible resetting the camera may help the white ballance issue you have....but it will reset your file numbering back to 000000 (i think)
the reset button is near the battery and just below the memory stick

When a bright light source is visible directly to the lens, you will get a long horizontal or vertical 'glare' across your lcd... it usually does not show up on the image tho, but you can count on lens flare when this happens...
