It is coming into that dreaded time of year called 'the holiday season' where we all are expected to pack on a few extra pounds from all the goodies. If you are sick of looking at cake, maybe I will save you from gaining a few.

I'm hoping people read what I have posted, scratch their heads, and post some delectable desserts. I am trying my own psychology out on myself. I figure I will be so sick of looking at pictures of cakes and what have you that I won't be tempted to actually eat any.

I see a bit of a problem here, dude. Your OP specifically states we're to take a picture of what we might think is your favorite cake, and post it and caption it. I really can't believe that very many people arte going to go to the trouble of seeking out and/or baking this huge variety of cakes just so they can shoot them for this challenge.

Can you amend the rules so just POSTING an image (from the web) is sufficient? You also seem to be responding to VERBAL answers...

I guess, on further review, the real key here is, if nobody "shoots" the correct cake, then "the most appetizing cake" will win. And you're not really expecting anyone to get it right, are you?

Hell, I donno. I'd just stop responding until someone hits a home run, I think, if I were you :-)

okay ill bite. I even took these photos, and they come with recipes yum
but they are not so pretty, but damn they were tastey

Coconut cake with coconute mergine toppinf/icing/whatever you call it in this country

Butterfly cupcake with butter frosting (my favourite cupcake)

I'll hold off on the third because i really want the husband to make me a cake haha.
