Quick question, since I don't have the manual with me...
Right by the viewfinder, on the top right, there is a little dial that you can click back and forth. What is that for? Something to do with focusing?

Tony that is an adjustment for those of us that wear glasses. It helps us focus the eyepiece to go with our lenses...

and if you don't need glasses but suddenly everything seems blurry - that's the first place to check! I've seen several cameras with that diopter cranked to one extreme or another rendering the viewfinder pretty bad.

I don't wear glasses. So I should just leave it in the middle there huh?
I'm thinking of getting one of those viewfinder extensions. My big nose rubs up on the display. hehe You guys use one of these?

It depends, do you see the three boxes in the view finder clearly? If not use it to adjust to your eyes. I don't wear glasses either but I adjusted it. |
