For some inexplicable reason, to me, the target size on my brushes (clone/dodge & burn) are suddenly pinpoint but the applied size is normal so I can't judge the size of the area I am sampling. This is the case in Photoshop CS and also PS6, I swear, it wasn't like that yesterday!!!

Make sure your caps lock key is not on. ;)

You may have to reset your preferences in display & cursors under the edit menu. Make sure that the bullet chooses brush size.

Laurie, thank you so much for that! I have had had that happen so many times and couldn't figure out for the life of me how to fix it. I would just live with sometimes for a long time, then "mysteriously" it would fix itself.

What wisdome we gain from this forum :)
