Now that we have two exclusive challenges a week and everyone has a profile number. How about having one of the challenge about odd and one about even and you have to enter the challenge that corresponds to your profile number (example: Profile # 47951 enters odd and profile # 47952 enters the even challenge).
Exclusive Open Challenge: Odd
Challenge Details: Using the word odd, take a picture that represents one of its many definitions.
Extra Rules: Your profile number must end in an odd number to enter this challenge.
Exclusive Open Challenge: Even
Challenge Details: Using the word Even, take a picture that represents one of its many definitions.
Extra Rules: Your profile number must end in an Even number to enter this challenge.

You could go to "Community", search your own name and then click on your own profile.... then you look up at the address bar ... and voila .... there is your profile ID number.

An easier way to find your ID number is to click on your own nic wherever you made a comment to a thread. |

How to find out your profile number:
1. At the top of the page click on 'Community'
2. From the drop down menu click on 'Photographer profiles'
3. Scroll down to the bottom and enter your profile name and press 'enter' or click 'search'
4. It will bring up your user name, click on it and it will take you to your profile page.
5. The number at the end or your URL after User_ID= is your profile number.
OR
The short way.
Goto one of your post in the forums and click on your user name. It will take you to your profile page with the User_ID number.

How can we police accurate entries? Do we DQ, after the challenge, anyone who entered the wrong category? Can it be coded so you can only enter the correct category?

I would say it could be coded. If they can code it where you can only enter one of the exclusive challenges they should be able to do it for this type of challenge. Because if you enter one of the exclusive challenges it will not let you enter the other, they way they are now.

It can be even easier still. If you're using IE anyway...just mouseover your user name in any thread you've posted to and your id will show in the status bar at the bottom of the browser.
OK...off to research id's of recent hot shots (ribbon winners), are they even or odd? ;^)

Cool suggestion. Deciding who can submit where shouldn't be a pronlem, it worked for the invitational challenge where you needed a certain number of comments.

Yup...
Next we'll have to have
Left / Right
Take pictures of their various definitions:
Left (side, behind, politics)
Right (side, raising a capsized boat, correct, politics)

i'll enter odd just to honor your original concept SDW.
I'm generally more odd than even anyways ;) |

That was my fault.
When I added them to the suggestions database, the thread had already fallen off the front page, and I was not able to find it.
I added them as best I could remember.
