Blimey - when someone told me Skip Rowlands has shot President Bush, you really went up in my estimations. However, these photos aren't a bad consolation, you newshound!

Very enjoyable reading! You brought back a lot of memories with that story!
I had a chance to do the same thing several years back when President Clinton visited Pittsburgh. My most vivid memory of that experience was when Air Force One, which was a couple hundred feet from us, turned around to head toward the runway. As it turned, we got the gale force winds from the jet engines blowing right at us. Dust and crap was blowing all over the place, and many of the "death watchers" were barely able to retain their balance!
That's very cool that you have an "in" with the AP guys... that's a handy contact to have!

Photography, yup they are indeed good ...... BUT .....
you need to put the camera away and start writing novels, even without the pics the tension of reading your story was almost enough, great work!

Very cool. I used to have to sit out there and wait for Clinton every time he flew in. Too bad I wasn't into photography back then or I'd have lots of cool shots.
Congrats. It appears like you're getting in further and further with the AP guys. Congrats. |
