Okay... need to come up with $300.00 to get the Canon 17-40 f/4L. My wife said "we" could put up the rest. So, here is where I need your help... BUY MY STUFF!

First Up...

Tamrac Expedition 7. Got this bag and it was just too big for me. I had the bottom waist strap removed from a local tailor, so that is missing... makes the bag better if you ask me. It has never been used.

This is an awesome bag if you have the equipment. Retails for $170+. I am looking for $100.00

Next up the Canon 50mm f/2.5 macro... seems to be going on e-bay from $180 to $210... I will sell it anyone on DPC for $150.00... shipping included. It has barely been used and is in new condition. I'm selling this because I just don't really like taking macro shots.

Shoot me an e-mail at mtm@honorcoins.com if you are interested.

Todd - if Michael does not buy it from you I will take the Tamrac Expedition 7.

BTW - why are you selling?

edit: also sent PM

Gack, my bad! I went off and had dinner and forgot all about getting the backpack. Do you still have the waist strap that was removed?

I am selling it because it's just a little too big for me and I don't do a whole lot of back packing. It is one serious back pack. By the way, my wife is killing me for selling it so cheap, but the chance to get my hands on some more L glass makes it all worth it.

I don't think I have the strap anymore, but my wife seems to think she put it in the garage. If it's a deal breaker I will go look for it in the morning.

Well, the problem is I'm rather wishy-washy about it. On the one hand, I am tall guy and have been wanting a nice hip pad strap for large loads. My little Tamrac 3 doesn't support them (too small) and so it carries like a sack of potatos. In fact, I don't even use it as a backpack, I use one strap and carry it as a sling pack. So even though the price is right, its missing a feature I was looking for.

On the other hand, I don't know that I would EVER attempt to carry the 7 on an extended hike. Its just too big. In fact, I would be buying it mainly to use as a "homebase" for my gear when I would actually be working out of other, smaller bags.

Now after all that, even if you have the strap thingy, I'm gonna say no. Seems as though you have another willing buyer already, and that's cool by me. Sorry to keep you waiting so long for an answer.

Just sent the 3rd email, hopefully I get a reply. Lack of communication on an internet deal bothers me greatly.

Yea, I was going to suggest a bit more time since your first two were in the wee hours of the morning. ;)

Glad you can relax now. He has been a member for some time and I seriously doubt he is going to run off with the couple of hundred bucks we sent between us. Have a little trust in mankind.

: )

I did, if I didn't I wouldn't of even sent the money! ;o)

...Guess I'm weird, I want my item shipped the same day I pay for it. I do it for others...

Sorry! I'm at work and the e-mails were going home. My wife was supposed to send it today, but I'm not sure if she did. If not, it will go out tommorow via priority mail.
