I was driving home today and saw a rainbow. Upong close examination, it was a double rainbow, and the whole 180 degrees of it! I tried to take a picture of it, but the wind was blowing, teh rain pouring and i was pulled off the side of the highway...so I do apoligize for the, umm, rather poor panorama / stictching here.

Very cool. The stitching actually adds something to this. |

I got to see a rainbow just like that back in june. unfortunately it was right outside my back door with a clear sky, no rain, and yet my photos look horrible.
always check your camera settings folks... BEFORE you start taking pictures of a rare and beautiful sight...
*sigh*

There's a Hockney-esque quality to the blatant stitching that I like (other than that it isn't made of enough separate images for that style). I especially like the off-setting of the lamp-post. |

Good shot(s) chris...they say it's always better to GET THE SHOT and have it not be exactly what you wanted than to not take the shot at all for whatever reason.

I very much like the slap-stitch panorama LOL. I think if you did some work on it you'd have a piece of art :-) Definitely something other than white in the empty spots...

This is a choppy and hacked-up idea, but with the originals and some time you could make a really cool scrapbook-type layout with the images. I used PhotoMix but you could use any kind of collage program or even PS to create something along these lines.

I also recently captured a double rainbow.
At one point it stretched the entire width of the sky, however the sun was too fleeting and I was too slow to get the shot.
