Do you like this one without all that red better?

:P right back at ya!! Remember the photographer just lights and composes the shot. The art director tells the photographer what they want it to look like! ;o)

That is soooo much better than the previous effort.

If you don't mind sharing, what did you do to get that job?

do you have a degree, if so from where

sorry to be so annoying but I really want to quit my job and work off my artwork but I'm still a year and half away from my degree.

Much, much better Mr. Ward. Easier on the eyes....

As with any business, it's all in who you know. No degree, just many a mentor over time.

Yeah, the art director kept wanting to switch, but I told her we would get the shot eventually.

evening bump.

Dramatic improvement, fellow-Ward. I assume the retouching will take care of the crack (?) near the mouth of the bottom cookie in the stack?

Robt.

It's beautiful!!

Very nice. A lot better than the other. I liked the red in the last one due to the season but it just didn't work. This is pleasing to look at (other than the crack mentioned by bear and maybe the one on the same cookie next to the top cookies head.

Good job.

I took the liberty to touch up the cracks, I know you could do it yourself, I just wanted to see if I could do it too. Here's my go: here

The final has all the cookies touched up, the ribboned burned, and the color moire retouched a little. I'll post when the send it to me.

You did a great job touching those cracks up Josh!

Much better apart from the crack in the mouth. There is no more of that wasted space around the cookies.

Thanks bear! I'm much happier with this version. Onto the story lead in photo. I'll be shooting some sugar cookies being cutout.

Lucky you! Can I come?
I want to eat the mistakes!
(And, yes, I'm always hungry for cookies...)

Photographically speaking, that sounds like it could be a challenging photo shoot--all those white cookies and white sugar and flour with people dressed in white working in (possibly) a chrome plated kitchen. These shots I want to see!

This is better but the gold almost blends with the cookies this time. Did you do one with green by any chance?

Deannda
just curious ;)

Mmmmmm cookies...

Since I have learned to put my glass away from the keyboard and also away from everything else with electrical power to it in the past few months, I can safely say all I shorted out was my optical mouse...and I think that was more a case of cannot read through liquid...
