I have moved your post out of the Critique Club forum. That forum is for discussion of the critique club. I have moved your post to the Individual Photograph Discussion forum, which is intended for the discussion of individual photographs. Thanks.

Looks like a good go at a still life to me. Maybe a little soft for my liking, possibly from NI treatment? Color is soothing but for me it could use a little more contrast with the background, maybe change the background? Anyway, like I said it is a good go at it and it is only the opinion of a guy who does not do still life.

Did you think about trying this shot from a different perspective? The top-down view is kind of ordinary. Lighting is pretty good, nice and soft with no burnt spots.

Your pic reminded me of This painting sort of similar. Anyway, I think that the center of the photo being quite soft, where the pear on the right is more in focus bugs me a bit. would like to either see it all that soft, or the crisper focus be on the center pear.

Thanks for your input everyone.

Thanks hbunch7187 for the input, and yes it does look similar to that painting, interesting.

I like it! Although I agree, I think it would be good all soft. Would look nice in my dining room:-D

love its tones and colors I would print this large on canvas without a frame. It has that painted feel that I think would look great on canvas.

Nice job.
