I wish I had known of this site and all of you guys before I moved to the US 4 years ago!!! I lived 6 miles from Tower bridge for two years and never got any shots of anything around London and it is my biggest regret. These photos have brought many many memories back of the area that I saw every day. My favorite place to view Tower bridge was near St Kathrines Dock and it was the place that I first saw Tower bridge at night. Quite spectacular because you have no idea it is there until you walk round the corner and wham there it is in front of you!!! I never got to go on the London Eye either and watched that being put up after many delays where it was laying on its side for weeks on end. The new footbridge that crosses the Thames was opened while I was there and abruptly closed when it started swaying the first time it was opened. Glad to see that is operational now.

Great shots people, looks like you all had a great time, and thanks for the memories.

Great photos everyone. I'm sorry that I missed it, although I'm not too sorry that I was plied with free beer at our friends' combined birthday party last night.
