Hi Guys,
Unfortunately I must sit this one out... shame really as the weather looks promising and I have my shiny new 5D to play with... I really hope to get to the next meet...
Have a good one, look forward to seeing the pictures..

Sorry, but we will not be able to make it this time - our kids have got too much on this weekend and they want us around. We should be good for the next one though :)
Have a great time everyone!
Darren

Repeat of the details that are in both the original post and about 10 posts ago, for Artan's benefit :o)
Originally posted by Manic: I've made a reservation for us under the name 'Hawkins' at Millbank Lounge Bar, just south of Westminster, for 4PM. This'll give us time to munch on their cheaper lunchtime menu (follow the Millbank Mix link). For those of you that need one, here's a map of the location, and it should be just 5-10 minutes walk south of Westminster tube station (or 5-10 mins walk north of Pimlico tube, if you prefer). |

I think a friend Mat is coming along too. He got a 350D relatively recently I'm giving him an excuse use it, else it'll left at home collecting dust |

Sounds like a great idea! Why don't you start a thread about it, and see if you get any interest?
Paris would be a great place for a GTG so if anyone based near there is willing to propose/ lead/ organise one I'm sure it would be popular
OK .. hear you both! I think sometime mid-Spring might be nice and hopefully by then, I'll also get a DSLR. Let me get my bearings around digital photography a little more and I'll post a thread in a couple of months to gauge interest. |

Shouldn't be a problem. However, if anyone else wants to come I'll have to update the reservations :o)

It looks like the weather is forecast to be just showery during the day tomorrow, and clearing at night, so we might get away with a dry GTG :D However, I needn't remind you to bring your wet-weather gear, just in case, do I? ;o)
One last call for anyone else who wants to join us - let me know ASAP!

Is anyone bringing a pumpkin along...?
BBC's 24 hour forecast (usually v accurate) says sun, clouds and no rain.

I'm feeling like a lazy bum at the moment. So I've just resized the photos and uploaded them to my webspace and not bothered to upload them to dpc.
