My winner at a local festival had now yeilded a few people that want to buy my print from me. So what do I charge?? The print is a 5 1/2 by 5 1/2 and I framed the original in a 12 x 12 with a white mat and black frame. SOOO what do I charge for just the mat or the mat and frame?

This is the photo

any advise is great!!!

I have no clue what to charge. Once someone at work wanted to buy a 4x6 shot I had of a bridge (in my portfolio). I was taken by suprise and "gave" him the photo! I guess it counts as a sale....

If it were me I'd charge for the mat and frame + 10% (for the hassle of purchasing them and doing the framing) and then maybe $25 for the picture itself.

well, I shall not be much help when it comes to pricing, having never sold any sort of photo, but congrats on that sale. I love the image!

start at $1 billion and work your way down until they say ok.

i'd charge about $20 for the photo, $40 framed, matted. depending on frame and matte of course.
