I would like to thank EVERYONE that replied. Each response has contributed to my understanding of this process, and hopefully, will allow me to view all my images with a more critical eye.

At this point I believe I have tried to make a square peg fit a round hole. This image, I think now, is best left in color. Just because I saw it as a B&W doesn't mean it should be one :)

Late "contribution"
I like the muted color version as bear mentioned. But of the BW's, I like what Brad did with it. I would just add one or two elements of color to it for dramatic effect, but that's just my style. :)
