I almost dropped mine last night, but saved it at the last second - my heart is STILL palpitating! I feel for you. Well... it IS Christmas... guess you could buy yourself a new one ! Hehe!

Merry Christmas anyway,
Linda

I am so sorry to hear about your camera. I knocked my office digital off my desk and broke the case. It cost $40.00 to get it fixed at a local repair shop. I knocked my Fuji digital off my desk and one of the controls broke off. I purchased it at Amazon a week prior. I returned it and got my Dimage 7i which I treat with kid gloves. Sometimes I think Fisher Price should design digital camera cases. Hopefully you can get it repaired.

My heart felt sympathies Paul. Hopefully it's not as bad as you think?

During my preparation for my Broken Motion submission, my cat knocked my camera to the ground (ceramic tiles) from a table. I had gone to download my shots from my compact flash card. I heard something crash in the basement, and sure enough, it was my camera. Turns out that the zoom button works a bit funny, but still works fine if you know what you're doing. I learnt my lesson. Cat in the house + camera unattended = costly mistake.

Good luck with your camera Paul.
