I just did a load of laundry, and I wound up with an even number of white socks when the drying was done!
Granted, this could mean that I've lost two socks instead of the usual one, but I'm still pretty excited about the whole thing. |

Well, my last laundry-oriented shot nearly earned me a brown, which would have been well-deserved...

I have a theory about all those disappearing sox...
You see, the sox makers are in cahoots with those people that make the fabric softening materials, be it liquid or sheets. The sock makers add a solution to one of the socks, which when combined with the ingredients that the softening materiaLs....AND the heat generated by a dryer.........CAUSES SAID SOCK TO EXPLODE.
You know all that lint you collect from your dryer after almost every load.........those are the remains of ........EXPLODED SOCKS.
IT'S A CONSPIRACY I TELL YOU............

Maybe I'm just a little demented, but that theory actually sounds frighteningly believable!

I usually get all my white socks back, but they usually have more holes in them when they come out of the dryer than when they went into the washer
