I entered the complementary colors challenge, because here in Amsterdam one finds totally different things in coffeeshops than anywhere else in the world ;-) |

I entered complementary colors because all my coffee/coffe grounds/bagels shots turned out bad.
Edit to add: My eggs shot turned out bad, also.

I entered coffee shop because I didn't know what complementary colours were and didn't think anyone else would (proved right!~) but then found out no-one could agree what a coffee shop was!

Coffee shop. I knew colors would have a zillion entries and I wanted prefer to be in the smaller challenge. Plus I managed to take a coffee shop photo I really liked. |

I should have entered coffe shop, because fewer people would have said " this is not a coffee shop" than are willing to say " these are not complementary colors".
Will skip this weeks challenges as well since the topics are so fuzzy the voting will have more to do with the preception of the topic subject than the quality of the photograph. |

I entered Coffee Shop. I was really excited about this challenge, and went to several coffee shops looking for a good shot. It was harder than I thought to get a decent shot. The lighting in many coffee shops is less than ideal. But I'm very happy with the shot I got. |

I didn't have much inspiration with both challenges, so I decided to spend some time to study.. ;) |

Coffee shop because my head was hurting on what were proper complementary colors. Actually it was hurting more from the question, "even though these are true complementary colors (depending on the wheel you use), will people see them as that?" |

Complementary Color. I have never had coffee and wouldn't know what to shot to look like a coffee shop. |

I chose complementary colors b/c my wife brought me flowers the day after the challenge opened. Finding my favorite complementary colors among them seemed to be fate. |

I entered Complementary Colors because I thought I knew what I was doing in that one - wrong! |

Complimentary colors. It was a last minute entry as usual. I didn't want to shoot another Starbuck's entry :P
I entered a funky one and maybe it's due to that that it's suffering. I turned off my scores after the second night due to frustration :( |

Coffee Shop, because Complimentary Colors had way too many entries (and Coffee Shop had a reasonable number). Also, because I REALLY liked the shot I took for the challenge and have other plans for it as well. ;-) |

coffee shop...i love to hang out in 'em. complimentary colors would have had me smoked, and i know it. at least with this one, i feel decent about my pic!
this week's themes? neither thrill me. too vague with the whole personification thing, and don't want to add to the onslaught of flags and uniforms in the pride one. who knows, though. perhaps genius will strike and i'll actually be around when it does! ; ) |

I entered complementary colors because I don't drink coffee and don't hang out in coffee shops. Plus I had this great idea for complementary colors. However, not many think it is that great an idea. |

On another thread, someone was making a comment about how Coffee Shop photos need to contain images of coffee, sugar, milf, napkins, etc. Things you would find in a coffee shop. I brought up the fact that in Amsterdam, you might not find any coffee at all in a Coffee Shop:-)
I went with complementary colors, because I love complementary colors. |
