I'm experimenting with B&W conversions. Which image works better? Any help/suggestions on converting to B&W are welcome.

Aye... you make it hard! :-)

I like the tones in the b&w so I really want to pick the b&w. BUT... the white monument in the background of the colored image stands out because of the color difference, it adds some intrigue to the image, forcing you to look back and forth between the pillars in the foreground and the monument in the background. I also like that there is still a little blue left in the sky.

Which do I like more? See ... that's the tough question! I think I'm going to pick the colored version but I really like the b&w too!

Hmmm. The black and white, for me is better, but would require more contrast.

color is better, but b/w has more potential with better editing.
