Heavier saturation color version:
Black and white version:
Any other comments and criticisms are not only welcome but encouraged.

I love the richness of the colors in the second one..
I am a big fan of b&w's but still going with the second for this particular capture.. its vibrant.

I have a saved action in photoshop that I use to add saturation and contrast to photos. Normally it is too strong at full strength, so I blend the new layer at about 50%, but this time I thought it looked really vibrant w/o being oversaturated at 100%.

hi Jeff,
I like number 2 and 3. Number 2 has vibrant colours.
Number 3 brings out strong contrast.
How about, using number 2, then selectivly desat all AREAs except the windows? :) |

That could be interesting, I'll give that a shot when I get the chance.

To be honest, I don't know? I like all of the versions. I am not crazy about the power lines. I love how the building has damaged areas and broken out windows. Much more interesting than a photo of a fancy building. |

Actually, they aren't power lines, they're chains (I don't know what purpose they serve). I wanted to clone them out, but they cross over too many details such as windows that it would have been a chore to remove them, so they stayed.
I have sort of a thing for old buildings, as is evidenced by my Louisville Folder in my portfolio

I vote for #2. I'm all for the rich colours. It gives it a bit of a soft glow, which I like on the old brick buildings.

Thanks for the help everyone. I was leaning towards #2, but I wasn't sure if other people would think it was overly saturated.

Okay, here are two selective desaturation versions. What do you think?

Personally I like the b/w version, but then I'm partial to b/w shots.
