Ok, so I have been pondering stats tonite, waiting for challenges to end / start...

Avg Vote Cast 5.51 - Avg Vote Received 5.03 = 0.48

I am not positive about this,,, but I do believe that alansfreed has voted on every single entry since he first joined DPC. It is indeed a remarkable feat.
I tried to vote on every single entry, but simply could not due to work commitment. I have however managed the following in less than a year:
Votes Cast: 21295
Votes Received: 5986
Avg Vote Cast: 5.3461
Avg Vote Received: 5.2342 |

There are, I believe, a few more up in the range with Alan... Can anyone find someone with over 70k?
BTW, Alan's probably voted on more than 80% of the imates ever submitted to DPC (!)
I don't have the exact stats, but the 80% number might even be conservative.

| I have cast 68482 but I haven't been voting on most of the challenges lately. I sorta quit voting on those I haven't entered, so I'm gonna fall back in that count. |

It won't be difficult. All u gotta do is vote on most of the challenges. I just can't make myself do it anymore. It's overload on my pea brain. |

| voting is undoubtedly a fine contributation one can make to the site. I vote when I can, but the volume of pictures has been very great which makes it difficult to vote on everything. Setzler's comment about voting only on challenges you enter is a good point. I usually vote in most challenges, but have failed in quite a few to vote on all the pictures. Still I have 62510 votes cast. |

| Hopefully, I will start voting on more in the future. The test of running multiple challenges where only one can be entered has potential of making smaller challenges with a higher percentage of interesting photos. This will make me want to vote again. |

Since we have 2 open challenges, I've been voting on the challenge I didn't enter, seems less stressful.
