I just had a wild idea. What if we had a challenge where say, everyone pays say one or five or whatever dollers to enter and the first place winner gets lets say 40% and the second place winner gets 30% and the third place winner gets 20% and dp challenge keeps 10% for all of there hard work. we really should support dp challenge, I mean how many of use rely on this site for our severe web photo addiction.

Just an idea for a little more compitition and a twist on the current challenges.

THIS SHOULD BE IN ADDITION TO THE CURRENT CHALLENGES OF COURSE.

Thank you so much dp challenge for this wounderful outlet in wich we, as photo addicts {no matter how good, or bad we are} can share and express ourselves. Ps I think everyone should fork over the very very reasonable rate to become a paying member of dp challenge to help improve and contribute to all of the hard hard work and the great job its creators have and are doing.

I personally think two challenges a week is enough.

I also think that this site would not be the same if there was prize money involved. Right now you have professionals and amateurs involved in a community type web site. With paid-in prize money, the whole complexion of the site would change: greed is the biggest sin. I think we had a thread about this when we did the Seven Deadly Sins challenge. Greed would take over and change everything about the site. Besides, there would be legal issues I don't think the site wants to deal with. They would also need more than 10% to pay for the legal issues.

Just my opinion.

I agree 100%... A cash prize would be the death of a great site.

would people be able to vote without bias if money is involved? i argue it would be much harder for a lot of people
