I have Irish and Native American ancestors and wanted to take pictures that would represent that. They didn't turn out looking Irish or Native American, but I thought that they looked cool. What do you think?

Hey Mandy... I too love Mixed heritage. Great concept gorgeous picture. Your expression is perfect and I like the processing.. what did you do? (newbie here) ;)

I had dark makeup on one side of my face, converted picture to black and white and adjusted the contrast a ton!!

Yeah totally got the makeup aspect.... but just the conversion and contrast huh? Looks awesome.. thanks :) added it to my fav's ;)

I've been playing with the idea of getting back into makeup applications for photography.. you've inspired me that much more ;) Thanks

The B&W version has great impact, have added it to favs. The colour version does not stir the same feelings, altho a technically good photo.
