sorry to tell ya, but those aren't of Katrina...that's just another of the haoxes that have been circulating the net.

Hello,
I have seen these pic several times in email. Each email has the photographer as a "different person". Now they show up here. I'm begining to wonder about these pics. They seem more likely to show a "midwestern" thunderstorm and tornado.
I rode out several hurricans here in Louisiana including Katrina and have never seen the sky look quite like the photos posted here. JMO of course....however the pics are very good even if it's not of the nasty witch Katrina.

Yeah, I think those pictures have been sent around for EVERY storm I can think of the past couple of years...but regardless of whatever storms they actually captured, those are some awesome images.

Not bursting any bubble, didn't claim anything to have a bubble.
This is the first I have heard of this hoax.
AGAIN, a friend sent them to me, and obviously he does not know of this hoax either.
Oh well.

Regardless of where they are from, they are still spectacular and quite beautiful...like a big pizza...mmm...damnit now I'm hungry.

| Those same pix were circulated a few weeks ago purporting to be of the tornados (and awesome thunderstorm that spawned them) that struck near Stoughton Wisconsin. They're not that either. |
