Commerical campaign that is.

As most of you know I volunteer with Junior Achievement and in the 5th grade program part of the idea is on advertising. How it affects you and gets you to buy a product.

Well, the assignment I gave the class was to bring in a sample of their favorite commercial or product and tell me why tomorrow.

My all time favorite, the only one that really made me get up and buy the product was this one:

B & J

I love the original and they no longer make it, they did this summer and I did have another summer of B&J just like in 1985! ;)

I really love the Motorola Razr TV ads where the world folds up. Clever. Smart. Chic. Appealing!

I also like the European Ford Ka Sport ("Ka's evil twin") ads.

Then there's the Mastercard "blow job" ad ... priceless!

In Australia millions upon millions of $$ is spent on beer advertisement.

Says something about us, anyway they seem to be getting bigger and bigger but this one is the latest and quite funny.

I can't for the life of me remember which car it is..

.. but I love those ones with the kids telling the safety testers what to do.

"Do it again, Bob!"

The kids are adorable and are just so excited watching them smash cars into a wall.

The imperious tone of voice is great.

I also like the Capital One "No" ads. They are even better now that they have the chubby sidekick guy. He's comic gold.

I'm borderline on the Geico commercials. I used to love them because I'd get suckered into thinking they were real only to hear them say "But I've got good news.. I saved a bunch of money by switching to Geico!".. but they are getting kind of old. They need new ones. The Tony Little one is freakish enough that I can watch it over and over.. and the reality show spoof with the tiny house.

I think they should totally make a reality show based on that premise. I might watch it.

I like the Milwaukee Light commercials.
"Men Should Act Like Men"

Also the insurance ones that say "People do stupid things"

My favorite favorite is the one with the guy sitting in the kitchen reading the paper when his wife walks in and asks," Does this dress make me look fat?" and without hesitation or looking he replies, " You Betcha." Geez, I'm laughin' just typing it!!!

Apple's 1984 mac intro "big brother" commercial & Coke's mountain top older version of "I'd like to Teach the World to Sing".

The Apple commerical is just cooool, go Ridley.

The coke commerical, although the company is just selling legally addictive sugar water and adding to the obsesity of America, is uplifting & hopeful.

I LOVE the Tiny House one!!! My husband and I were so bummed to find out it was a spoof! LoL

I would have to say that my favorite ones are for the Citi Bank Identity Theft. The ones where they have people voiced over other people.... My favorite one of all is The guy drinking beer and the leather bra HaHa! I also love the girl who is voiced over by a guy talking about his girl robot! :)

The cavemen are angry because the insurance guy cuts down cavemen in general... saying things like it's so easy a caveman can do it...so the cavemen are upset tht the man said that and that he didn't research to see that cavemen exist, and that they are cultured (so to speak) these days, and the one that won't eat has lost his appetite over it. The irony is that the "cavemen" are in a classy restaurant and eating froo-froo food/drinking wine.
