Maybe this idea is a bit absurd but I thought it'd be interesting, on two levels, to have a challenge for a worst photograph: first to see if the best photographers are capable of taking the worst photographs, and secondly to experience the funny games our brains would play trying to decide which bad photograph is a better bad photograph. |

I think I could win this one.
Great idea, count me in... |

The real question is, do you want to put a lot of thought into making a bad photo, or just take lots and select the worst? :)

I think I have seen threads like this before and I have always thought this could be a fun challenge, to try and take a horrible photograph on purpouse :)
Count me in if this ever becomes reality.
Only thing though is that what generally usually gets very poor ratings are shots that are really really small, like 200x150 pixles so that would be an easy way out of this challenge, that and having the shot out of focus so maybe some set of ground rules would be wise for a challenge like this, like that the shot has to be at least 400x300?
(oh and YES, I can take a bad photograph but most of the time it´s not on purpouse...)

I'd say you ought to put a lot of thought into it AND take lots and then select the best/worst. in other words, the key is, imo, the ceative idea behind it. but then again, would that be bad at all?

well I think if people keep having in mind what they're supposed to vote high for --a good bad photo-- then the small ones shouldn't score high.
It's a Catch-22 :-) |

hehehe, I can see where the post challenge forum threads could be great!
"I can't believe my photo got a 5.XX, it is obviously way worse than the winners!"

Do you mean something like this? Shot for 'Breaking New Ground'; screw-up intentional.
Comments are pretty funny. Couldn't fool the 'Camera Voters' 4.701 - 'No Camera Voters' 6.333 thought it was ok. ;^)

Well if I ever go intentionally after the brown ribbon it would probably be this challenge. Then I could just excuse myself that I misunderstood the challenge and that I actually won the blue ribbon :o) |
