I knew the title would pull you in.

I'd like to share a couple of new grungy ones from my portfolio.

Any comments and critiques are very much appreciated.

Gah. Not really a fan of grungy photos. The middle one reminds me of the Max Payne cutscenes.

Congrats on the two blues btw :)

don't suppose anyone knows how to achieve joey's (really cool btw)grunge effects in a darkroom?? i want to try it out but i've never got the hang of digital art in photoshop beyond basic editing, and would be much happier with a bunch of chemicals.

anyone got any suggestions???

thanx

yeah..i've read that, but that's how to do it on photoshop. I want to be able to replicate it in my darkroom, whether thats through choice of paper, chemicals or exposure or a mix of all 3...?

anyone know????

pretty please :)

i've seen it done in the darkroom by scratching the negatives and using different items to stain the paper...coffee, tea, cigarette ashes. basically, you just destroy the negative and paper and you've got grunge. :) check out the work by Emil Schildt. his grunge is all done in the darkroom.
