I'm trying to learn how to straighten out a horizon. I'm using the DPC tutorial and it says to use the measure tool in photoshop. Is this tool available in elements too?

Don't believe Elements has that feature. |

To correct perspective in Elements, you should convert the background to a layer by double clicking on it. Then, select the move tool and hold the Ctrl (Windows) or Cmd (Mac) key down while dragging a corner handle. |

I correct perspective in Elements 3.0 by selecting all and clicking on Image: Transform: Distort. You might want to rotate first. The distort allows corner movement for straightening with left click and dragging the corner to get your horizon straight. I also choose View: Grid to check the straightening.
