I saw a framed photo of this same scene in the HR office at Marquette General and loved how serene it looked. Ever since, I have been watching and waiting for a day when the water would be calm enough to take my own shot of it. Today I got lucky as I had to stay a couple hours late at work, and on the way home found the water was nice and calm. I finally got my shot.

I live on the TN river. The water can be rough all day but 9 times out of 10 as the sun starts to go down the wind dies down and the water becomes calm. Excellent shot by the way. You should be proud of it.

ok - here's another shot. The first one I posted I evened out the sky color, and was not sure it was the best thing to do. This shot has the natural sky color which I like better comparing the two. Feel free to comment. I appreciate your opinions.
