It was a burst of 3. The cool bit is I got him in the sky arching over for the dive, the impact, and the splash with feet sticking out of the water.
I think I will make a combined sequence shot when i get a chance.. |

Both shot with a Pentax K-1000 using TRI-X pushed 2 or 3 stops.
These shots are about 20 years old. It was my first time visiting the Mohonk area, and the fog had just started to lift as we approached the lake. I think I was pushing the film to 1600 maybe 3200. These are scans from 4x6 prints and all the grain you see is natural, analog film grain.
It was a magic day, and I have many great shots (and memories) from that day.
